Ensures physician signs off on addenda and completes patient charts. Write reports and correspondence, demonstrating proficiency in typing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication. Listens to complex medical information and summarizes it clearly and concisely. Translates medical abbreviations into their expanded forms and maintains confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Maintains and coordinates multiple forms and paper documentation related to patient care, ensuring organizational ability.
