<p>Advanced Systems Engineer</p> <p>Location: Northridge, CA</p> <p>Pay: Max $170K based on experience</p> <p>Schedule: 9/80</p> <p>MUST have a secret security clearance to be considered</p> <p>Are you a Systems Engineer with a strong embedded software expertise looking to work in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of Software & Systems Engineering? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to analyze and develop requirements, specifications, and system architecture while collaborating with key stakeholders.</p> <p>You will serve as a critical link between multiple technical teams, ensuring seamless coordination and problem-solving across Systems, Software, Programmable Logic, and Integration & Test disciplines.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead cross-functional collaboration between technical teams to drive project success </li><li>Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements, specifications, and design architecture </li><li>Provide briefings to high level leadership including Chief Engineers, IPT Leads, and Program Management </li><li>Oversee systems engineering processes, including requirements development, system design, integration, and testing </li><li>Identify design constraints inherited from other programs and develop solutions </li><li>Define and execute test cases for integration and validation, ensuring early identification of test assets and equipment </li></ul> <p>Top Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Active DoD Secret Clearance </li><li>Experience with system integration, requirements management, and software validation </li><li>Expertise in embedded software development & testing </li><li>Familiarity with IBM Rationale DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody for systems engineering </li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and lead verification activities </li><li>Strong understanding of missile/weapon system subsystems including RF/sensors, guidance, telemetry, power/battery, and airframe </li><li>Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in an IPT environment </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline + 14+ years of systems engineering experience (4+ years in requirement verification) OR Master's Degree in Engineering + 12+ years of relevant experience (4+ years in requirement verification) </li><li>Experience in missile/weapon development, sustainment, and testing </li><li>Ability to solve complex technical problems with innovative and strategic solutions </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $82.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
