<p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Work with various hotel Associates in Food and Beverage and Catering to ensure bar service for events is correct and up to standards of quality. </li><li>Set up portable bar with the appropriate items (as needed): garnishes, glasses, ice, all liquor requested for function, mixes, straws, napkins, etc. </li><li>Maintain bar supplies throughout the function. </li><li>Making really great beverages! Using POS system to ring bar purchases for guest's drinks. </li></ul> <p>What we are looking for</p> <ul> <li>Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with guests and associates. </li><li>Previous experience in high-volume bar as bartender </li><li>High work ethic and self-initiative </li><li>Able to work in high pressure and fast paced situations </li><li>Able to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays </li><li>Be able to accurately memorize drink ingredients and garnishes for use in beverage service. </li><li>Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests! </li></ul>
