<p>Make a Lasting Impact in the Lives of Young Children and Their Families</p> <p>We're looking for a passionate, organized, and faith-driven Early Childhood Ministry Associate to recruit, lead, and equip volunteers who help build biblical foundations in the lives of young children, birth - 18 months. Through developmentally appropriate curriculum, trusted relationships with families, and intentional volunteer leadership, you'll help young hearts take their first steps in faith - while aligning with the mission, vision, and values of Southeast Christian Church.</p> <p>Why Southeast? In this role, you'll be part of a ministry that not only nurtures children's faith from the very beginning - but also develops you as a leader, servant, and follower of Christ.</p> <p>What You Will Be Doing:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and empower volunteers to create meaningful spiritual experiences for young children. </li><li>Build strong relationships with leaders and families, offering pastoral care and encouragement. </li><li>Equip others to share the gospel in age-appropriate and engaging ways. </li><li>Ensure volunteer teams are well-staffed and supported for every weekend service. </li><li>Review provided curriculum and prepare classrooms to ensure smooth implementation during services. </li><li>Partner with the Early Childhood Leader and team to carry out ministry goals and events. </li><li>Support and participate in church-wide and early childhood special events throughout the year. </li></ul> <p>What We Are Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Is adaptable, team-oriented, and communicates with grace and clarity. </li><li>Has a heart for young children and their families and enjoys working with both. </li><li>Understands child development and can apply that knowledge in a faith-based context. </li><li>Works independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. </li><li>Is excited about being part of a vibrant, Christ-centered church community. </li></ul> <p>Our Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (preferred). </li><li>2-3 years of early childhood ministry or equivalent experience. </li><li>Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church or willing to become one. </li><li>A commitment to live out our seven staff values: Honor, Care, Accountability, Grit, Authenticity, Humility, and Fun </li><li>Leads by example fulfilling the staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship and giving. </li><li>Agree with the *Statement of Faith, submit to the leadership established by the church, and live out our church Mantras in tangible ways. </li><li>Please read our Statement of Faith that is attached below.
