<p>Power Systems Applications Engineer</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge and experience with electric utility industry practices </li><li>Functional understanding utility GRID applications like Outage Management, Distribution Management or Energy Management applications for Power Utilities. </li><li>Exposure to CIM and other model exchange formats. </li><li>Understanding and Handson experience of Electrical Data Modelling. </li><li>Experience of implementing application configuration for SCADA, OMS, DMS and EMS software configurations. </li><li>Proven software design and development skills. </li><li>Database skills SQL/PLSQL. </li><li>Principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation practices, refactoring, and testing techniques. </li><li>Understand customer Application modelling needs and design metamodels and transformation of data to target database formats with strong understanding of CIM </li><li>Works with customers on model migration and conversion of data to format needed for advanced Power Systems Application. </li><li>Implement EMS, ADMS and SCADA systems. </li><li>Contribute and lead advanced Power Systems Application software development and delivery to meet project/product commitments. </li><li>Engage with customers which mainly consist of Electric Utilities for Transmission and Distribution System Operators. </li><li>Work on defining functional software specifications, designing, coding, testing, integration, delivery, and maintenance. </li><li>Provide domain knowledge and/or technical leadership to a team of electric power application software engineers. </li><li>Lead and contribute to electric power application development and ensure software delivery is on schedule and per customer expectations. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range- $80,000-$140,000 a year</p> <p>TCS Employee Benefits Summary:</p> <p>Discretionary Annual Incentive.</p> <p>Comprehensive Medical Coverage: Medical & Health, Dental & Vision, Disability Planning & Insurance, Pet Insurance Plans.</p> <p>Family Support: Maternal & Parental Leaves.</p> <p>Insurance Options: Auto & Home Insurance, Identity Theft Protection.</p> <p>Convenience & Professional Growth: Commuter Benefits & Certification & Training Reimbursement.</p> <p>Time Off: Vacation, Time Off, Sick Leave & Holidays.</p> <p>Legal & Financial Assistance: Legal Assistance, 401K Plan, Performance Bonus, College Fund, Student Loan Refinancing.</p> <p>#LI-SV2</p>
