<p>Robley Rex VA Healthcare System, Louisville, Kentucky is currently recruiting for a Sterile Processing Service (SPS) Registered Nurse-Program Manager Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky 603.</p> <p>The SPS Registered Nurse (RN) Program Manager (PM) Supervisor executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to the management program aspects. The SPS RN PM Supervisor</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates performance and leadership that is broad enough to impact on the standard of care and safety of staff while caring for all patients throughout the continuum of care </li><li>Accountable for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the program and the staff who support it </li></ul> <p>The SPS RN PM Supervisor will</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the provision of staff education, orientation, competencies, and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization consultation related to the program </li><li>Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others </li><li>Evaluates practice in an ongoing process, based on best evidence </li><li>Provides peers with informal constructive feedback for improvement </li><li>Fosters a safe and supportive environment conducive to the professional development of healthcare professionals </li><li>Contributes professional nursing perspective in discussions with the interdisciplinary team </li><li>Partners with others to effect change and produce optimal outcomes </li><li>Shares educational findings, experiences, and ideas with peers </li><li>Questions clinical practices for the purpose of providing evidence-based care </li><li>Participates in activities and strategies to sustain an evidence-based-practice organization </li></ul> <p>The SPS RN PM Supervisor</p> <ul> <li>Continuously evaluates the program, collecting and submitting facility performance Measures </li><li>Participates in quality improvement activities for nursing and develops performance measures to ensure programmatic outcomes are successful </li><li>Ensures the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are understood by the team and integrated into the program's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and products, and services </li><li>Communicates and evaluates assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and time frames for completion </li><li>Demonstrates proficiency in leadership based on sound judgment, critical thinking, and deliberate planning </li><li>Leads discussions with facility leaders regarding program goals and requirements to meet the operational needs of the facility and program </li><li>Provides strategic advice and recommendations, while collaborating with the program staff to develop solutions to complex issues and reporting actions to leadership </li></ul> <p>The SPS RN PM Supervisor is responsible for</p> <ul> <li>The documented outcomes at the program level and for supporting the program in all services within the organization </li><li>Program level outcomes must be broad and complex and can be demonstrated at any organizational level within a facility, Veterans Integrated Services Network {VISN), or Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) </li></ul> <p>VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: VA Nurse Total Rewards</p> <p>Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards</p> <p>Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)</p> <p>Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA</p> <p>Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)</p> <p>Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory</p> <p>Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm</p> <p>Telework: Not available</p> <p>Virtual: This is not a virtual position.</p> <p>Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized</p> <p>Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not authorized</p> <p>Pay Schedule: N0HT</p>
