<p>Skill: Microsoft Fabric Developer - Power BI & Fabric Data Engineer</p> <p>Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Fabric Platform Knowledge. </li><li>Understanding of Fabric architecture (OneLake, DirectLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, etc.). </li><li>Hands-on with OneLake and understanding of how it is organized, including workspaces, shortcuts, file formats (Parquet, Delta) and the ability to mount different sources. </li><li>Experience with data items like Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Notebooks, and Semantic Models. </li><li>Familiarity with Fabric capacities and licensing. </li><li>Configuration and management of spark workloads, including node size differences, high concurrency, and scaling. </li></ul> <p>Roles & Responsibilities:</p> <p>Data Engineering:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Lakehouses and Notebooks (PySpark, SQL) to perform transformations and cleansing. </li><li>Data ingestion and transformation using Pipelines (similar to Azure Synapse and ADF): joins, filters, aggregations, UDFs. </li><li>Handling large-scale data sets efficiently. </li><li>Knowledge of Delta Lake format and how to build delta tables. </li><li>Use of data orchestration to drive metadata driven ingestions. </li></ul> <p>Data Integration & ETL/ELT:</p> <ul> <li>Working with Dataflows Gen2 and Pipelines. </li><li>Configuring pipeline triggers, activities, dependencies, and monitoring. </li><li>Connectors to various sources (Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, etc.). </li><li>Scheduling and monitoring data refreshes. </li></ul> <p>Power BI:</p> <ul> <li>Building reports and dashboards. </li><li>Data modeling using DAX and Power Query (M language). </li><li>Semantic modeling and dataset management. </li><li>Row-level security implementation. </li></ul> <p>Azure Ecosystem Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database. </li><li>Azure Active Directory and security model integration. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range - $110,000-$140,000 a year</p> <p>#LI-NS2</p>
