<ul> <li>Position Purpose The job of student cafeteria worker is providing support of the food service area. Specifically, you are required to prepare and serve food, while maintaining a clean safe and sanitary work area. </li><li></li><li>The purpose of all Tier I employment is to build and allow students to demonstrate the career readiness skills of professionalism, effective and efficient work ethic, time-management, reliability and critical thinking. Upon successful completion of a Tier I positions as determined by their supervisor and the Student Employee Manager, students are eligible for Tier II and Tier III positions matching their program of study. </li><li>Duties and Responsibilities </li><li>Superior customer service </li><li>follow serve safe regulations </li><li>prepares food items (hot and cold) </li><li>restocks food items </li><li>serves food items </li><li>maintains clean and sanitary work area </li><li>must be able to work independently or with others </li><li>follows written and verbal instructions </li><li>responsible for opening and closing of the work area </li><li>proper food storage </li><li>sweeping and mopping </li><li>works with POS transactions (cash/meal plan/hawks bucks'/credit cards) </li><li>all other duties as assigned. </li><li>dining services is a 7 day a week operation and will require early morning/late nights'/weekend hours </li><li>Qualifications - Education, Experience, and Skills </li><li>Full-time enrollment </li></ul> <p>For all Tier I positions, students need only be enrolled full time.
