The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>Corporate Accounting and Reporting consists of the following:</p> <ul> <li>External financial reporting - SEC reporting, earnings release reporting </li><li>Corporate Controllership - consolidations, controllership </li><li>Technical Accounting - accounting research and policies, accounting for acquisitions </li><li>Enterprise Accounting - Treasury and Compensation and Benefits accounting </li></ul> <p>The co-op would play a key role on the Corporate Controllership team supporting the monthly and quarterly consolidations and external reporting processes.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Co-op responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Monthly and quarterly financial close activities </li><li>Post journal entries, run analysis reports and review internal documents </li><li>Review of external and internal financial reporting deliverables including the 10-Q/K, earnings press release and financial statement analysis </li><li>Prepare financial statement footnotes, review supporting documents </li><li>Preparation of consolidated roll forwards </li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.</p> </li><li> <p>Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2025, through March 27, 2026.</p> </li><li> <p>Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs</p> </li><li> <p>Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting</p> </li><li> <p>Comcast is an Affirmative Action/EEO employer M/F/D/V</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>Accountability, Communication, Professional Etiquette, Relationship Building, Resilience, Teamwork</p> <p>Compensation</p> <p>Base Pay: $25.00</p> <p>Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
