<p>OVERVIEW</p> <p>The Insurance Center, an Alera Group company, is looking for an Employee Benefits Account Manager (Small Market). We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team - joining us may be the perfect fit for you!</p> <p>Alera Group was founded in 2017 and has grown to become the 15th largest broker of US business. We are passionate about our clients' success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Manage client and carrier relationships through clear communication, issue resolution, customer service, and claim filing assistance. </li><li>Develop and distribute educational materials on benefits, rates, plan design, claims, and new enhancements for employees. </li><li>Work with the assigned ASR team to service clients according to established service standards. </li><li>Communicate annual renewals, present renewal options, and identify opportunities to add new lines to existing groups. </li><li>Educate clients on self-help resources like Zywave Select Access and AleraHR. </li><li>Maintain client files and follow-up actions using T.I.C. Group Share, Brokerage Builder, Outlook, and ResourcePro. </li><li>Attend sales seminars, meetings, and educational activities to stay updated on industry trends and regulations. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred, or minimum one year of experience in insurance agency specializing in employee benefits, or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in professional verbal and written communication. </li><li>Knowledgeable about insurance products, markets, sales processes, and workflow procedures. </li><li>Team player mentality, delegating effectively and fostering trust among colleagues. </li><li>Life, Accident and Health insurance license required or willing to obtain upon employment. </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <p>This job is expected to be performed on-site in the office.</p> <p>Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits to our colleagues, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off and much more.</p> <p>We're an?equal opportunity employer.
