<p>Columbia Medicine Service is seeking a Chief Cardiologist with outstanding clinical, teaching, administrative and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with the Cardiology staff. The incumbent will have clinical responsibilities, including preceptor to medical students and additional ad hoc clinical, teaching, and administrative assignments as may be required by the Chief of the Medicine Service or the Chief of Staff.</p> <p>VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. Board Certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is required. Expertise in the interpretation of Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI is desirable.</p> <p>Duties include but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Provision of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to patients with cardiovascular diseases </li><li>interpretation of stress tests, tilt table tests, echocardiograms, and electrocardiograms; </li><li>Supervision of Cardiology Fellows and Internal Medicine Residents; </li><li>Administrative oversight of the Cardiology Section </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
