The role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and assisting with design activities under the direction of senior engineering staff.</p> <p>Work is performed based on established procedures, assigned tasks, and supervisory guidance.</p> <p>This is an on-site role in our Bohemia, NY office. Occasional travel (<10%) may be required.</p> <p></p> <p>Work Authorization: U.S. Person or eligible for export license</p> <p>Key Position Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of circuits and assemblies</p> </li><li> <p>Record data and prepare test reports and documentation</p> </li><li> <p>Fabricate breadboards and prototype units using provided schematics</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with parts procurement and material coordination</p> </li><li> <p>Support preparation and updates of:</p> </li><li> <p>Assembly drawings</p> </li><li> <p>Bills of materials (BOMs)</p> </li><li> <p>Schematics and layout drawings</p> </li><li> <p>Create drawing packages for simple design updates using established guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in designing simple circuits and test fixtures under supervision</p> </li><li> <p>Follow defined plans, schedules, and work instructions for assigned tasks</p> </li><li> <p>Perform software updates or maintenance as directed</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associates degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent technical training</p> </li><li> <p>12 years of relevant technical experience</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to:</p> </li><li> <p>Circuit fabrication and prototyping</p> </li><li> <p>Electrical testing and troubleshooting</p> </li><li> <p>Basic AC/DC and semiconductor theory</p> </li><li> <p>CAD tools and engineering software</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and applied engineering principles</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and schedules</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Supervision:</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed under direct or general supervision </li><li>Tasks and priorities are assigned by engineering leadership </li><li>Work involves routine technical problem-solving and execution of established methods </li></ul> <p>This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
