We help you grow in your career through training and support, and as an equal opportunity employer, we provide comprehensive benefits and give you a firm foundation for the future.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Account Coordinator will assist Account Managers with responsibilities in account management, new contract sales, customer relations, collection resolution, project management, retrofit/upgrade sales, and any other items as needed.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist the account manager in all functions: sales, correspondence, customer relations, project coordination, scheduling, drawing review, and estimation. </li><li>Proactively pursue preventative maintenance contracts and service sales. </li><li>Review and understand contractual scope and project documents (drawings, submittals, equipment operations, and maintenance manuals) </li><li>Oversee management of materials, equipment, tools, information, and subcontractors </li><li>Assist with cost projection and management </li><li>Promote and uphold McKenney's safety absolutes, best practices, and company culture </li><li>Participate in project planning and execution to maximize SQPCE performance </li><li>Act as a company ambassador by marketing and promoting consistent and excellent project implementation </li><li>Understand, practice, and promote all company values and operational procedures </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school or equivalent </li><li>A degree in Engineering or Construction </li><li>Management or at least 5 years of HVAC or Plumbing experience/vocational training. </li><li>Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work independently </li><li>Highly adaptable and able to respond quickly to changing customer demands </li><li>Strong desire to provide excellent customer service with a genuine passion for the company and industry </li><li>Excellent time management skills: able to prioritize, balance urgent vs. important tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maximize efficiency </li><li>Committed to accuracy, quality, and meeting challenging work goals and deadlines </li><li>Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and understand various technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, civil, structural) </li><li>Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities </li><li>Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and manage priorities with minimal guidance </li><li>Exceptional work ethic; upholds company values and demands the highest standard of conduct from self and others </li><li>Professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Technical school </li><li>Trade school </li><li>Bachelor's degree </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS</p> <ul> <li>Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises. </li><li>Work environment involves some exposure to construction, mechanical, and electrical-related hazards, or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. </li><li>Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds and extensive standing and walking. </li><li>Work requires local and occasional out-of-town travel to job sites and customer locations. </li><li>Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and scaffolds, and to negotiate work areas under construction. </li></ul>
