If so, Kalamazoo Valley Community College may have the perfect opportunity for you.</p> <p>Kalamazoo Valley Community College is seeking RN applicants for part-time nursing clinical positions.</p> <p>These are clinical courses that allow nursing students to function in the roles of provider and manager of care for clients with common, well-defined, health care deficits in a predictable environment. Socialization into the acute care setting is also a focus of these courses.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree is required. </li><li>A minimum of two (2) years of nursing practice experience is required. </li><li>An unencumbered State of Michigan RN license is required. </li><li>Current American Heart Association "BLS Provider" CPR certification is required. </li><li>Upon hire, candidates will be required to complete a 10-panel drug screen, and provide documentation of the following: </li><li>Seasonal Flu Vaccine. </li><li>Series of three Hepatitis B immunizations or Hepatitis B titer results indicating immunity. </li><li>Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (TDAP) within last 10 years. </li><li>Negative PPD (one step) or Quantiferon Gold TB test within the past year (a negative chest X-Ray within the past 3 years will also suffice and will be required if PPD or Quantiferon are positive. </li><li>Series of 2 MMR immunizations or adequate titer results for Rubeola, Mumps and Rubella. </li><li>Varicella immunity documented by either a series of two Varicella immunizations, or history of disease confirmed by physician record, or adequate Varicella titer results. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>A Master's degree with a major in nursing is preferred. </li><li>At least one (1) year of nursing education work experience is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>Extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting of patients</p> <p>Work Hours: May include daytime and/or evening shifts Posting Date 04/23/2025 Closing Date: Special Instructions to Applicants:</p> <ul> <li>Apply online at: https://jobs.kvcc.edu/ </li><li>This position will remain posted until all positions are filled. </li><li>Please provide a copy of your RN license and current American Heart Association "BLS Provider" CPR certification under "Other Documents."
