<p>SUMMARY: The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of our Venice facility. Incorporating knowledge in one or more fields, i.e., electrical, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing. Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This is a full-time hourly position, reporting to the Operations Manager.</p> <p>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <p>Perform scheduled facility maintenance tasks to support the facility structure, equipment, and grounds. Tasks include such activities as Painting, Patching, Replacement of Filters, Belts, Light Bulbs, and other assigned tasks. Perform repairs to return down equipment to service. Maintain the facility spare parts/supply inventory and submit request for purchase (RFP) timely to avoid stock outs. Submit professional service receipts and or invoices along with an RFP to the Maintenance Manager for tracking of cost of maintenance and approval. Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned by the Engineering Manager. Perform scheduled facility housekeeping tasks to support the facility and grounds 5s. Perform facility walk through at the beginning and end of each shift to identify any safety concerns and/or security breach. Notify the Maintenance Manager of any findings immediately. Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Document and record maintenance and housekeeping activity in PMC software. Clean areas as required. Communicate with contractors for large maintenance tasks. Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Associate's Degree 2+ years of relevant/technical work experience OR An additional 2 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Must demonstrate strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task. Ability to push/lift 75 pounds. Ability to climb ladders. Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require. Ability to work in extreme temperatures. Working in high noise levels requiring hearing protection. Working around lubricants, solvents, cleaning fluids, paints, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling applications</p> <p>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Bachelor's degree 5+ years of work experience</p> <p>OTHER</p> <p>The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
