<p>West Valley College is accepting applications from qualified persons for establishing a pool of individuals interested in future part-time assignments as Sign Language Interpreters.</p> <p>Under the general direction of the Director of the Disability and Educational Support Program, the incumbent provides sign language interpreting services for instructional classes, related academic activities, and campus events. Assignments involve standard complexity factors, including the communication system required, subject matter difficulty, pace of interpretation, and the number of consumers served simultaneously.</p> <p>West Valley College, though just minutes from the heart of the Silicon Valley, is in a beautifully park-like setting on 143 wooded acres.
