This includes supervising shop personnel, coordinating schedules, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in pipefitting fabrication and welding, and a commitment to productivity, safety, and quality control. </li><li>Lead and supervise pipe shop team members, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. </li><li>Interpret and review blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings to plan daily workflows. </li><li>Monitor production schedules and coordinate fabrication priorities with project management teams. </li><li>Ensure quality control standards are met and all fabricated components pass inspection. </li><li>Operate and oversee use of shop equipment such as plasma cutters, iron workers, and overhead cranes. </li><li>Provide hands-on training and mentorship to team members, promoting skill development and adherence to safety protocols. </li><li>Maintain inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables; coordinate with purchasing as needed. </li><li>Enforce safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety meetings and initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 7 years of experience in pipe fabrication or mechanical trade work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. </li><li>Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and materials. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. </li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. </li><li>Proficiency with overhead cranes, fabrication equipment, and hand tools. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks such as climbing and kneeling. </li><li>Commitment to upholding B&I safety policies and procedures. </li><li>Pre-employment drug screening, background check, and valid driver's license required. </li></ul> <p>Join us today and build a brighter future with B&I Contractors, Inc. - where you're not just an employee, but an owner!</p> <p>#Bandi1</p>
