<p>The Bartender is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests at the bar as well as providing beverages to servers at the service bar station; beverages are to be prepared and served in accordance with Company standards and in a professional and courteous manner.</p> <p>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provides friendly and attentive service to bar guests following Company standards. </li><li>Prepares beverages for servers (if working service bar) to serve to guests. </li><li>Sets up and maintains bar so that it is stocked with materials/products to provide prompt and efficient service to guests (liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, condiments, garnishes, cocktail straws, napkins, menus, etc.). </li><li>Has complete knowledge of the food and beverage menus, liquor, beer, wine and recipes to make recommendations, prepare drinks, and answer questions. </li><li>Assists management with inventory as needed. </li><li>Verifies identification for all guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be under the age of 30. Involves Management when questions of validity apply. </li><li>Cleans glassware and bar utensils through the operation and maintenance of the glass washer. </li><li>Monitors and adjusts TVs, music and lights in the bar as needed. </li><li>Ensures compliance with LSF safety and sanitation standards (proper footwear, personal protective equipment, ice scoop, floors mats, and glass only receptacle). </li><li>Contributes to the overall cleanliness and the organized appearance of the bar. </li><li>Continually clears away unwanted dishes, glasses, and debris from bar top. </li><li>Utilizes the POS properly to ensure Guests requests are fulfilled and properly accounted for; presents Guest with accurate check. </li><li>Other duties as determined by management. </li></ul>
