You will report to the Production Cell Leader and will have an onsite work schedule in Chatsworth, CA.</p> <p>To be considered for the Electronics O/H Test Technician II role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:</p> <ul> <li> <p>General knowledge equivalent to high school education</p> </li><li> <p>Must have at least 8 years of experience in the aerospace industry preferably in the fields of electrical/electronic equipment, avionics, and electronic test equipment;</p> </li><li> <p>Must know how to read, comprehend and understand engineering prints/electrical schematics, specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledgeable with the use of mechanical and electronic measuring instruments and equipment such as: calipers, height gages, depth indicators, micrometers, power supplies, multimeters, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of office software (Word, excel, etc.); Must be familiar with using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM's, di-electric test equipment, frequency generators, counters</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarize themselves with Ontic's AS9100 Quality System;</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic devices to component Level.</p> </li></ul> <p>As a Electronics O/H Test Technician II, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Be responsible for manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting high precision electronic products for use in aircraft and other aerospace and defense systems</p> </li><li> <p>Perform acceptance testing in order to determine whether the accessory (products) meets specifications relating to quality, workmanship, dimensions, functionality and performance</p> </li><li> <p>Build high quality product; Use professional judgment based on their knowledge and experience to ensure that only high quality product is deemed acceptable</p> </li><li> <p>Create assemblies per blueprints/schematics and specifications daily</p> </li><li> <p>Construct the required set up's necessary to test units</p> </li><li> <p>Perform in-process testing per part; Identify parts using stamp procedures; Recommend changes to processes</p> </li><li> <p>Meet production schedules daily</p> </li><li> <p>Develop improvement ideas to promote continuous improvement; Cross train on a variety of products and functions; Read blueprints</p> </li><li> <p>Keep all documents up to date within the work order packages during the work process;</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive medical insurance </li><li>Competitive PTO </li><li>Company 401K plan with up to 4% matched contribution </li><li>Annual bonus program (varies by level and discretionary based on company and individual performance) </li><li>Flexible working arrangements </li><li>Paid volunteering opportunities </li><li>Access to mental health champions across our sites </li><li>Commitment to development </li><li>Employee referral program </li></ul> <p>This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.</p> <p>#LI-Onsite</p> <p>EOE/AA Minority/Female/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Disability/Veteran</p> <p>Compensation Pay Range</p> <p>$23-38/hr based on experience</p> <p>Please click here to review Ontic's California Consumer Privacy Act policy.</p> <p>Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
