Jennifer Castanon, Dental Assistant Team Manager</p> <p>Dental Assistant Job Profile:</p> <ul> <li>Do you have experience in a fast-paced environment where you are on a tight schedule? </li><li>Are you passionate about educating patients about oral health and giving back to your community through your dental skills? </li><li>Is working at the top of your skill level exciting for you? </li><li>Have you been in an environment where you've had to ask questions and be the one giving answers? </li><li>Are you bilingual in English and Spanish? </li></ul> <p>What You Get to Do:</p> <ul> <li>You will build relationship with the dentist to anticipate their needs and save time. </li><li>You will be one step ahead of the dentist to pass them instruments for the procedure, having checked in beforehand to see if they need additional instruments. </li><li>You will work with a team of 2-3 other assistants to help each other with tasks that keep on schedule, such as help clean the rooms, sterilize instruments, load the x-ray, do notes, and set up for the next patient. </li><li>You get to help the patient learn about oral health care by showing them how to brush and floss, help them understand why it's important to follow up with cleanings and post-op care. </li><li>You get to serve your community - you are here for the patients, and they are very grateful. </li></ul> <p>Compensation: Approximately $21.00 - $24.55 per hour.
