<p>'Be a Difference MAKER' in a new career at TANDEM LIVING!</p> <p>CURRENT OPENING:</p> <p>Full-time: 80 hours biweekly (Monday - Friday)Will take part in an on-call rotation</p> <p>The Painter is responsible to expertly apply paint, stain, and wallpaper to decorate and protect the interior and exterior of buildings. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent.Vocational school graduate certificate preferred but not required.Must have a valid PA Driver's License for the past two (2) consecutive years.Three (3) years' experience as a Painter OR three (3) to five (5) years as a Painters Helper is desired.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:</p> <p>Uses manual dexterity and constant hand and forearm movements to apply paint, stain, and wallpaper on surfaces. Utilizes color discrimination to detect differences in mixed and sample colors.Expertly applies coats of paint, stain, and wallpaper to decorate and protect interior and exterior of buildings.Accurately applies spray paint and stain to walls and cabinets. Spreads cloth or canvas over floors and furniture to protect them from spattered paint.Completes work orders within recommended time frame.Available to assist in any emergency that may require additional support to ensure normal operations.</p> <p>TANDEM LIVING was founded in 1903, the Christ-based mission is to enrich the lives of residents, staff, and the community.
