External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.</p> <p>Your Role:</p> <p>MilliporeSigma is hiring a Planning and Scheduling Specialist 2 at the St. Louis - Spruce site. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the Planning and Scheduling systems, including SAP and related planning databases, to ensure that designs are optimized to achieve corporate business objectives. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and other production and purchasing planners to accurately interpret Customer Forecasts and Demand Information into SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and SAP MRP. Job duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Plan and schedule MRP </li><li>Supervise the material flow from bulk to finished goods across the value stream (Production, QC, Packaging, Supply Chain), applying process improvement methodologies and APICS best practices to optimize operations and drive business results. </li><li>Leverage strategic understanding of corporate objectives and capacity models for long-term planning, conduct analysis to identify Supply Chain trends and behavioral discrepancies, propose solutions (including training), and coordinate cross-functional activities to achieve targeted service levels. </li><li>Ensure effective demand planning system functionality and implement proper scheduling techniques to enhance operational throughput; apply expertise to current and future projects (including SAP); and respond to inquiries efficiently and professionally. </li><li>Serve as a technical resource and role model, fostering open communication across the organization, maintaining and analyzing departmental measures, and addressing/resolving inquiries and problems or delegating as necessary. </li><li>Support related functions in QC, Packaging, and Operations regarding throughput, efficiency, and quality </li><li>Perform assigned miscellaneous duties and demonstrate exemplary attendance and schedule adherence. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or other Life Science field </li><li>1+ years Inventory Management, Forecasting or Planning/Scheduling experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>CPIM and/or CSCP certification </li><li>Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Attention to detail and teamwork abilities, including training skills </li><li>Proficient in PC applications, including word processing, databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access </li><li>Solid mathematical background with knowledge of the metric system and unit conversions </li><li>Familiarity with SAP or local planning system functionality </li><li>Experience in supply chain management, MRP, capacity planning, forecasting, and planning and scheduling techniques </li></ul> <p>RSREMD</p> <p>What we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
