<p>Job Title: Bench Scientist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated contractor to join the Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, and Metabolism's Enzymology group in Groton, CT. This laboratory-based role involves supporting in vitro assays to investigate drug metabolism, enzyme kinetics, and drug-drug interactions.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Generate samples from in vitro studies using biological matrices. </li><li>Analyze samples by LC-MS/MS and process data for reporting. </li><li>Perform routine lab activities, including stocking consumables and buffer preparation. </li><li>Maintain an electronic lab notebook. </li><li>Engage in effective oral and written communication. </li><li>Collaborate effectively within a team. </li><li>Conduct general laboratory work involving the study of drug metabolism in vitro. </li><li>Interpret and present data from sample analyses using LC-MS/MS. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in assay techniques. </li><li>Strong foundation in chemistry and biology. </li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Team collaboration abilities. </li><li>Computer proficiency. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or Master's degree with 1 year of experience. </li><li>PhD candidates are welcome to apply. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position operates on a Monday to Friday, first shift schedule. The work involves routine laboratory activities and requires effective use of computer technologies for data processing and communication.
