ATACO Steel Products Corp is looking for a CMM Programmer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the high standards our customers rely on.</p> <p>As part of our Quality team, you'll support both day-to-day production and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with products, processes, and inspection tools - and to make a real impact on quality across the company.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Under the direction of the Quality Manager, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct initial sampling, in-process, and finished goods inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and tolerances.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze and interpret inspection results, clearly communicating feedback to operators to maintain quality standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete documentation to support customer-required PPAPs and participate in new product development when needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with containment, corrective action reports (CARs), and root cause analysis to drive problem-solving and improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Audit and monitor inspection processes for ISO compliance, helping maintain high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Support and implement continuous improvement activities across the plant.</p> </li><li> <p>Create and maintain in-process inspection sheets and CMM programs using ATACO templates and measurement strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect incoming goods to ensure they meet purchase order requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Train operators on proper use of measurement equipment and support capability studies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all quality department tools and equipment are calibrated, documented, and maintained.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform general office and quality-related functions as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>1-3 years of quality assurance experience</p> </li><li> <p>Solid understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and full part layout inspections</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with stamped and drawn sheet metal parts</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with PC-DMIS, DraftSight, and SolidWorks</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with ISO 9001:2015, quality management systems, and ERPs</p> </li><li> <p>A driven, self-starting attitude with a desire to grow and take initiative</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Join ATACO</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work-Life Balance: 9-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, half-day Fridays, and opportunities for overtime</p> </li><li> <p>Impact: Play a hands-on role in ensuring quality that reaches customers every day</p> </li><li> <p>Team Culture: Join a supportive environment where your contributions matter</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>All employees are expected to support the Values, Mission, and Vision of ATACO Steel Products Corp.
