<p>FSQA Lab Tech I is a detail-oriented and proactive Food Quality Lab Technician supporting lab operations and product testing. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance and ensuring product quality through thorough inspection, sample collection, and documentation.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain lab housekeeping by managing waste, cleaning benchtops, cleaning carts, sanitizing biological safety cabinets, de-cluttering lab, other duties as assign, etc. </li><li>Manage shipping and receiving packages for the Micro Lab </li><li>Complete any errands including but not limited to sample pick-up (when needed), courier package drop-off, and any outside lab errands </li><li>Outside lab sample collecting including water samples, etc. </li><li>Finished Goods analytical testing of PET products and pre-retort cans </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED. </li><li>1-2 years' experience with quality inspection, auditing, data collection, and testing. </li><li>6 months experience in a lab setting </li><li>Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office and Office-based database systems. </li><li>Ability to understand department documents </li><li>Ability to display sound logic and attention to details. </li><li>Ability to communicate comfortably and work with co-workers in a team environment. </li><li>Ability to follow a schedule, as well as verbal and written instructions. </li><li>Read and speak English. </li><li>Bachelors or Associate degree in a program in a science field or quality technology preferred </li><li>Experience in food manufacturing preferred </li><li>Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Sound Math skills e.g. Percent Calculations, averages, means, standard deviation etc. </li><li>Respond quickly to information request from internal and external customers. </li><li>Ability to follow SOPs </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer / Vets / Disabled</p>
