<p>CAMP JACK LEAD REGISTERED NURSE - TEMPORARY (40 Hours)</p> <p>Pay Rate: $40 / Hour</p> <p>SUMMARY: The employee enables eligible children and their families/caregivers to receive the rights, procedural safeguards, and services authorized under the States and American Camping Associations guidelines and protocols.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Attend mandatory People Incorporated trainings and educational programming as required. </li><li>Oversee all healthcare services for Camp Jack campers and staff. </li><li>Provide accurate and up to date medical records for a pre-camp health inspection. </li><li>Responsible for the supervision, daily tasks, and weekly schedule of Camp nursing staff. </li><li>Communicate health and medical situations with the Camp Health Care Consultant as needed. </li><li>Plan health and wellness camp activities as scheduled. </li><li>Navigate the online platform for campers and staff health records and for documentation purposes. </li><li>Maintain consistent communication with caregivers regarding their child/children's medical treatment. </li><li>Assist Camp Director in developing camp safety rules. </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean medical cabin and ensure all medical supplies are up to date. </li><li>Monitor and manage campers' blood glucose levels daily. </li><li>Organize and manage the daily snack and mealtime blood glucose testing times of the day. </li><li>Plan for and request necessary medical supplies in advance. </li><li>Provide creative support for theme weeks </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge obtained through attainment of degree from accredited institution as determined by ACA standards. </li><li>Ability to provide current copy of Massachusetts Registered Nurse license, CPR/FA certification, and required health records. </li><li>Knowledge and skill obtained through at least two years of experience in human services. </li><li>Must be an organized individual </li><li>Knowledge of pediatrics and being active in outdoor settings. </li><li>Skill in communicating and working both independently and within a team. </li><li>Ability to accurately maintain records </li><li>A qualifying criminal background check required. </li></ul> <p>Why join our Team?</p> <p>Come work in a rewarding and creative environment that encourages growth, collaboration and community involvement that is exploding with opportunities.</p> <p>At People Incorporated you will find a path to endless opportunities and a rewarding career!
