<p>Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Systematically review the mechanical design rules of all products to ensure customer needs are met while maintaining organizational cost and reliability goals. Define customer requirements, perform detailed analysis of loads and stresses, materials, and manufacturing processes to determine conformity. </li><li>Provide recommendations, plan, and execute approved projects that enhance product competitiveness in collaboration with manufacturing, purchasing, and other functions. </li><li>Identify, plan, and execute projects to deliver new product designs and extensions of current products through inter-departmental team efforts. </li><li>Develop and recommend solutions to complex and unusual order-related requirements to manage risk. </li><li>Document the rationale for mechanical designs and provide rules for executing specific product designs. </li><li>Provide technical expertise and training in mechanical design, stress analysis, and manufacturing processes. </li><li>Understand and interpret product scope, quality standards, and industry standards to ensure proper design and application of transformer and substation products. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, WI.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.</p> <p>medical, dental, vision, 401K</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a fully onsite position in Waukesha,WI.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Dec 19, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
