<p>Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p, occasional Sundays</p> <p>Under the general director of the Lead Technologist and within established departmental and hospital guidelines, performs all duties of an ultrasonographer. Performs all diagnostic testing procedures as ordered by the physician; operates imaging equipment, performs quality control procedures and performs minor routine maintenance tasks on equipment.</p> <p>Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasonography </li><li>Broad-based knowledge of all aspects of ultrasonography </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in acute care hospital setting </li><li>Experience with GE and Philips ultrasound equipment </li><li>Experience with Synapse/PACS </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an approved school of Ultrasonography; maintains current knowledge of new developments and equipment in the field of Ultrasonography. </li></ul> <p>License/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Registration with ARDMS , CCI or RCS and CPR certification required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>Use hands to control objects, tools, or controls, stand or sit for long periods of time, repeat the same movements, on feet for long periods of time, bend or twist body.
