<p>Role: Mainframe Developer with strong DC2</p> <p>Location: Bentonville AR - Onsite - 5D</p> <p>Mainframe, DC2 Experience in Retail domain</p> <p>Only W2 Candidates required, No glider needed for this role</p> <p>Mandatory Areas</p> <p>Must Have Skills - Mainframe Developer</p> <p>Skill 1 - 10 + Years of exp Overall, Mainframe ,DC2</p> <p>Skill 2 - 6+ Years of Exp in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2</p> <p>Skill 3- Retail domain experience is a plus</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong DC2 (Distribution Center) functional knowledge and proven experience in the Retail domain, ideally with exposure to large-scale retail environments</p> <p>This role involves supporting, enhancing, and modernizing Mainframe-based logistics, warehouse management, and supply chain systems.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on IBM Mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS).</p> <p>Work on DC2 / Warehousing / Distribution Center applications, including inbound/outbound processing, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory control.</p> <p>Analyze complex business requirements related to retail distribution and convert them into scalable technical solutions.</p> <p>Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring SLAs and operational stability.</p> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams-product owners, QA, architects, and business SMEs across retail operations.</p> <p>Participate in system modernization and migration efforts (if applicable).</p> <p>Create technical documentation, conduct peer reviews, and support deployments.</p> <p>Optimize Mainframe jobs and improve application performance.</p> <p>Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to best practices for retail supply chain systems.</p> <p>Required Skills & Experience</p> <p>5+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies:</p> <p>COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, TSO/ISPF.</p> <p>Strong functional knowledge of DC2 / Distribution Center processes:</p> <p>ASN processing, pick/pack/ship workflows, warehouse inventory, replenishment.</p> <p>Experience working in Retail domain applications</p> <p>Ability to analyze batch cycles, optimize JCL, and troubleshoot job failures.</p> <p>Experience with integration between Mainframe systems and downstream applications (e.g., WMS, OMS, transportation).</p> <p>Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production and QA environments.</p> <p>Excellent communication skills working with global teams</p>
