<p>Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions):</p> <p>This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may expand to include other duties and responsibilities based on business need.</p> <ul> <li>Carry out responsibilities of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and other typical apartment repairs. </li><li>Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily work orders, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and any other duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Management staff. </li><li>Adhere to the dress code as established by management </li><li>Use proper protective equipment when necessary and follow safety procedures. </li><li>Communicate with staff and residents in a professional manner. </li><li>Complete work orders manually and on the computer. </li><li>Ability to maintain and upkeep maintenance shop for inventories on parts, tools and supplies </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Must have maintenance knowledge in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, appliance, electrical including electronic key systems, and other typical apartment repairs. </li><li>At least two years of experience in resident maintenance preferred and experience leading a team </li><li>Dependability and reliability in following through with responsibilities is required. </li><li>In this position, it is required that you maintain a vehicle, valid state driver's license and current insurance. </li><li>HVAC certification highly preferred. </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license. </li><li>Must be available for emergency on call rotation as required. </li></ul> <p>McCormack Baron is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer.</p>
