In this role, you'll perform service upgrades, utility meter moves, and the installation of electrical equipment, wiring, and devices that power residential solar projects.</p> <p>This is a great opportunity for licensed electricians who want to apply their expertise in a rapidly expanding industry, while enjoying a supportive team environment, steady work, and the satisfaction of helping families transition to clean, renewable energy.</p> <p>Roles & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform service upgrades, meter moves, and installation of solar-related electrical equipment, wiring, and devices in compliance with company standards, job specifications, and all national (NEC) and local codes. </li><li>Provide technical expertise and leadership for service teams or installation crews, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety on every project. </li><li>Assist installation teams with staging materials, site preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized jobsite. </li><li>Complete thorough project documentation, including photographs, equipment diagrams, and records of existing site features, and submit all materials promptly. </li><li>Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, inspectors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution. </li><li>Follow company policies, including proper care and operation of company vehicles and adherence to safety guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Experience</p> <ul> <li>State Electrical License - Required </li><li>Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application in residential settings. </li><li>Prior residential solar experience preferred, though not required-we're willing to train motivated licensed electricians. </li><li>Solid mechanical skill set with comfort using tools, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and maintaining balance while working on rooftops or varied terrain. </li><li>Ability to regularly lift and move 40-50 lbs. safely. </li><li>Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening. </li></ul>
