<p>A Kforce client is looking for an AVP of Project Delivery in the Orlando area. The AVP provides strategic direction and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects and programs. The role focuses on strengthening delivery practices, guiding project teams, and ensuring alignment between business priorities and execution. It combines oversight, coaching, and governance to drive consistent, high-quality outcomes.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee a portfolio of key initiatives, ensuring visibility, alignment, and effective delivery </li><li>Champion standardized project management approaches grounded in PMBOK, Agile, and scaled Agile principles </li><li>Coach and mentor project management staff, supporting their development and ensuring adherence to best practices </li><li>Help shape and refine governance models, delivery standards, and operating processes </li><li>Partner with cross-functional business and technology leaders to maintain clarity around priorities and execution plans </li><li>Lead structured risk, issue, and dependency management efforts across the portfolio </li><li>Support planning cycles, prioritization discussions, and reporting on portfolio health and performance </li><li>Advocate for Agile ways of working and foster a culture of continuous improvement* Bachelor's degree required </li><li>Professional certifications such as PMP, SAFe Agilist/Practitioner, CSM/CSPO, or comparable credentials </li><li>8+ years of experience leading complex projects and programs </li><li>Deep knowledge of PMBOK, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies </li><li>Strong leadership presence with excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities </li></ul>
