<p>Overview</p> <p>The Company provides industrial waste services to its customers. The Industrial HazMat Driver operates a tractor-trailer and other truck equipment to haul industrial waste to a variety of final disposal or recycle facilities. The Industrial HazMat Driver provides efficient response times and a high level of service to the Company's customers.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>ransports hazardous waste, hazardous materials, industrial fluids, and non-hazardous wastes in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. </li><li>Operates a variety of vehicles including, but not limited to vans, straight trucks, tankers, vacuum tankers and roll offs. </li><li>Performs safety inspections and maintains a DOT driver's log and records, as required by DOT. </li><li>Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment operated as required or instructed. </li><li>Maintains satisfactory customer service by maintaining radio and/or telephone communication with dispatch, supervisor, or manager to receive instructions on pickups and deliveries. </li><li>Completes work tickets and maintains daily inventory of tools, fittings and other equipment associated with the transport vehicle. </li><li>Reports all safety issues, incidents and concerns to Company management and notifies of current and/or anticipated repair needs. </li><li>Responsible for making sure all jobs are operated in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. </li><li>Use Personal Protective Equipment when needed or requiredPerforms other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.May require up to 30% regional travel </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Knowledge of equipment associated with the trucking of industrial and/or hazardous waste </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker and hazmat endorsements. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience driving commercial tr </li></ul>
