<p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide management, coordination, liaison, advice, research, analysis, planning, programming, and budgeting advice and assistance for Special Operations Human Performance, psychological, and social programs. </li><li>Serve as a key analyst and recognized professional authority performing scientific work requiring design, development, and adaptation of mathematical and statistical models and techniques. </li><li>Provide advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative courses of action. </li><li>Support the strategic planning process for Special Operations Forces programs to enhance individual and unit performance. </li><li>Coordinate joint integration and management of all Component Command force preservation capabilities. </li><li>Determine alternative ways to achieve the best mix of personnel, equipment, and training within fiscal constraints to optimize special operations human performance and rapidly repair injured personnel. </li><li>Evaluate Human Performance Programs (HPP) and Psychological Performance Programs across the Component and Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) and develop measures of effectiveness. </li><li>Ensure Component programs target performance and rehabilitation parameters according to mission requirements and program policy. </li><li>Apply expert analytical and evaluative skills to support established Human Performance initiatives. </li><li>Provide information about psychological factors in sports, exercise, and physical activity. </li><li>Assist the POTFF Staff with goal-setting, performance profiling, visualization, and performance planning. </li><li>Develop counseling programs for overtraining, burnout, aggression, and violence. </li><li>Foster collaboration throughout the POTFF to enhance patient care quality. </li><li>Conduct literature reviews to ensure the POTFF stays current with care provision. </li><li>Support and foster research conducted at the POTFF under supervision. </li><li>Participate in the collection and reporting of workload data for POTFF Managers. </li><li>Perform health and behavioral research analysis using advanced statistics. </li><li>Utilize scientific inquiry to develop mathematical models to evaluate and predict program support. </li><li>Provide technical guidance and advisory support on projects and major phases for varied operations. </li><li>Attend meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars to remain current in statistical analysis and multivariate statistics. </li><li>Assist in providing input for development of Initial Capability Documents and related documents. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>PhD in Human Performance, Behavioral/Social Science, or related discipline. </li><li>Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods and analyses for developing, adapting, modifying, and applying models. </li><li>Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, develop and utilize data collection techniques, conduct analysis, and package findings for decision-making. </li><li>Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to negotiate complex issues and indicate solutions. </li><li>Knowledge of health and behavioral science research analysis techniques. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>At least five years of experience working in a related field. </li><li>Ability to lead research teams and execute projects within financial and time constraints. </li></ul> <p>About Loyal Source</p> <p>Loyal Source is an Orlando-based workforce solutions provider dedicated to delivering elite services worldwide.
