<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Student Support Services/Paraprofessional</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>3/30/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Dr. Julian Rogus School</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>08/17/2026</p> <p>&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Paraprofessional</p> <p>Purpose of Position:</p> <p>Responsible for assisting in the instructional program under general supervision of the classroom teacher.</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Works with individual or small groups of students on specific skills/ and or specific assignments.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides frequent feedback to students as he/she works on assignments.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the preparation of materials, bulletin boards, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Scores/corrects papers, quizzes, tests.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs health care procedures as specified in the Individual Education Plans of the students.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists students in group or classroom activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervises students at arrival, dismissal, lunch and playground times.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with classroom documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors/supervises students in moving throughout the daily transitions.</p> </li><li> <p>Attends staff meetings, in-service and training programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Attends student IEP meetings as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the supervision of field trips and assemblies, as well as other school programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Accompanies students to mainstreamed classes as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the implementation of student's Individual Education Plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Conditions:</p> <ol> <li> <p>ISBE Paraprofessional Licensure.</p> </li><li> <p>Employed to work school year.</p> </li><li> <p>$19.81/hourly and benefits</p> </li></ol> <p>Application Procedure:</p> <p>Apply Online</p>
