<p>Position Details</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Title Visiting Assistant Professor of Engineering Classification Title Faculty Full Time (.75-1.0 FTE) Benefits Eligibility</p> <p>Benefits Eligibility</p> <p>Department Engineering Job Description</p> <p>The Hope College Engineering Department invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Engineering, full-time teaching position on a 9 month contract to begin August 2026. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, providing individual instruction during office hours, and preparing, administering and grading examinations.</p> <p>Is this a visiting faculty position? Yes Rank Assistant Qualifications</p> <p>Candidates should have either a Ph.D. or Master's degree in engineering or a closely related field.</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>This position requires remaining in a sitting or standing position for frequent periods of time; uses office machinery such as a computers, printers, copy machines; Occasionally involves moving items over 10 pounds; frequently will move between different offices/workspaces/buildings; and requires effective communication abilities.
