Be part of our amazing journey!</p> <p>The Cypress of Hilton Head is recruiting for a hospitality focused Assistant Plant Director to join our team! This role is responsible for assisting with the oversight, care and maintenance of all aspects of the community's physical plant including maintenance, refurbs, valet, drivers and security.</p> <p>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an Assistant Director of Plant Operations:</p> <ul> <li>Assist Plant Director in daily supervision of Plant Department employees. </li><li>Acts in place of the Plant Director in Plant Director's absence. </li><li>Takes appropriate precautions to avoid job related injuries and complies with injury reporting guidelines. </li><li>Responsible for scheduling, disciplinary actions and problem solving for the Maintenance section of the Plant Operations Department. </li><li>Assist with negotiation with vendors for cost, projects and timelines for completion of projects. </li><li>Analyze and identify cause of malfunctions; oversee completion of necessary repairs or replacement of components. </li><li>Assigns and supervises preventive and corrective maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC, refrigeration, laundry, kitchen and hot water equipment. </li><li>Monitor completion of Plant projects, completion of all work in orders, inspect, assign and coordinate refurbishment projects. in conjunction with Plant Director. </li><li>Plan, organize, and implement special projects, including required material lists, feasibility and labor requirements. </li><li>Report any unsafe conditions to the Plant Director immediately. </li><li>Respond to site of smoke detector/fire alarms. </li><li>Look for ways to continuously improve safety for members, staff and visitors, actively participate in safety programs and embrace The Cypress Hospitality Promises daily. </li></ul> <p>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma. </li><li>Maintenance supervisor experience (preferred). </li><li>Ability to work independent of close supervision. </li><li>Must possess good communication and organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
