<p>Summary:</p> <p>To layout, cut, weld, and assemble structural framework from materials such as aluminum and stainless pipe, plate, and extrusions. A mixture of GMAW and GTAW is involved in this process.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Works with aluminum and some stainless-steel pipe and plate to produce various sizes of common and custom vaporizers. </li><li>Cut, grind, drill, weld, and test products according to blueprint specifications. </li><li>Fabrication tools include cutting tools, grinders, drills, MIG and TIG welding, and small hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) </li><li>Read and follow blueprints and materials list to obtain parts specifications. </li><li>Lays out, cut, drill, shape, and finish parts for assembly. </li><li>Create and use jigs as necessary to assist in efficient productive habits. </li><li>Compares dimensions of assembly to blueprint specifications. </li><li>Maintain high-quality workmanship. </li><li>Cleans work area during and at the end of each shift. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) </li><li>Minimum of 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. May be certified AWS/ASTM Welding in MIG & TIG. </li><li>Certified use of an overhead crane and steel handling equipment, Hazmat required. Will train in-house before crane use. </li><li>Follows daily production schedules outlined by the group lead or supervisor. </li><li>Follows clear, well-defined blueprints, sketches, and work orders. </li><li>Proper use of fabrication equipment to cut and weld raw material. </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer: Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran</p>
