<p>Job Description</p> <p>Performs various plumbing assignments including installations, repairs and pipe replacements, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas, and drainage systems throughout the hospital.</p> <p>Job Responsibility</p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Installs, maintains and replaces water, gas, steam, air, waste and vent, drainage and vacuum systems. </li></ul> </li><li> <ul> <li>Provides guidance and instructions to Plumber B and other personnel assigned to projects. </li></ul> </li><li> <ul> <li>Recommends and/or prepares purchase requests. </li></ul> </li><li> <ul> <li>Serves as a member of Fire Response Team. </li></ul> </li><li> <ul> <li>Assists contractors in shutdown of services and utility systems. </li></ul> </li><li>Performs related duties as required. </li><li>ADA Essential Functions </li></ul> <p>Job Qualification</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent, required.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous plumbing experience, required.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to utilize portable and stationary power tools of the trade and read blueprints.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.</p> </li><li> <p>Additional Salary Detail</p> </li></ul> <p>The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).</p>
