<p>Job Title: Manufacturing Project Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Manufacturing Project Manager oversees multiple manufacturing projects within an assigned department, from initial scope and budget development through planning, production, and completion. This role coordinates closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure projects meet specifications, stay on schedule, and remain within budget. The Manufacturing Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers and drives each project through the full lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, effective prioritization, and successful delivery.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage a portfolio of 1-7 external customer projects at a time, ensuring each project progresses smoothly from initiation through completion. </li><li>Develop detailed project scopes and budgets based on customer requirements and internal capabilities. </li><li>Plan and schedule project activities in collaboration with internal teams, aligning resources and timelines with project objectives. </li><li>Serve as the main point of contact for customers, maintaining clear, timely, and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle. </li><li>Translate customer needs into clear internal requirements, ensuring all stakeholders understand project goals, deliverables, and constraints. </li><li>Prepare and manage project quotes, then oversee the transition from quoting to production, ensuring a seamless handoff and execution. </li><li>Drive projects through production, monitoring progress and proactively addressing issues to keep work on track with specifications, timelines, and budgets. </li><li>Prioritize multiple projects effectively, balancing competing demands and adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines and customer expectations. </li><li>Coordinate cross-functional efforts within the manufacturing environment to ensure alignment with project requirements and quality standards. </li><li>Monitor adherence to work specifications and project plans, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality, schedule, and cost targets. </li><li>Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and customers, highlighting progress, risks, and any required changes. </li><li>Continuously evaluate project performance and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in project management within a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead them to on-time completion. </li><li>Experience working directly with external customers and serving as their primary point of contact. </li><li>Strong skills in project scoping, budgeting, planning, and scheduling. </li><li>Ability to translate customer requirements into clear, actionable plans for internal teams. </li><li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance competing project demands. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders. </li><li>Experience in catheter manufacturing is preferred. </li><li>Ability to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Background in contract manufacturing is highly desirable. </li><li>PMP Project Management Certification is a plus. </li><li>Experience working in environments with multiple concurrent customer projects. </li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing processes related to medical devices, particularly catheters, is advantageous. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role operates within a manufacturing environment that supports multiple concurrent customer projects, particularly in catheter-related production. The position involves frequent collaboration with cross-functional internal teams and regular interaction with external customers, primarily during standard business hours. The work setting emphasizes structured project planning, disciplined execution, and adherence to defined specifications, timelines, and budgets. The environment is fast-paced and deadline-driven, requiring strong coordination, clear communication, and consistent follow-through across all stages of the project lifecycle.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of San Jose, CA.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.</p> <p>Will receive medical, vision, dental, 401k as benefits.
