<p>Posting Number Stu389P Working Title Potomac Place RA for Operations FLSA Exempt Student Pay Level C Advertised Pay Rate 11.00 Position Status Regular Student Employment Department Student Emp Residence Life Job Summary/Basic Function</p> <p>Position only available to current Potomac Place Resident Assistants in Residence Life.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Work assigned duty shifts, which may include some weekends, holidays and official University closings due to inclement weather or other related emergency.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide good customer service as a member of the Residence Life staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend training sessions before the start of each semester or break period. Employees are also required to attend in-service training sessions throughout the semester (as needed).</p> </li><li> <p>Attend all scheduled meetings with supervisor(s).</p> </li><li> <p>Implement and enforce the Shepherd University policy and notify other Residence Life staff if/when the policy is not being adhered to properly.</p> </li><li> <p>Report possible policy violations via conduct case management system, Guardian, in a timely fashion.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with door access for emergency personnel to gain entry to the building.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform administrative duties on a routine basis. Meet all deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned by graduate or full time Residence Life staff up to and including acting as an RA over break periods for the University.</p> </li></ol> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be a current Resident Assistant assigned to Potomac Place through the Residence Life Office. </li><li>Must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours at Shepherd University. </li><li>Candidate must have exemplary disciplinary record and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. </li><li>Outstanding leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Candidate may not be engaged in curricular or co-curricular activities that will significantly interfere with their ability to cover duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications Posting Date 07/17/2025 Close Date Special Instructions Summary</p>
