<p>Title: Intervention Specialist</p> <p>Posting Date: 03/19/2025</p> <p>Closing Date: When Filled</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications : Intervention Specialist (Mild/Moderate)</p> <p>Responsibilities and Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Writes, implements and monitors goals and objectives outlined within the IndividualEducational Plan </li><li>Reports progress on goals and objectives </li><li>Makes changes to goals based on student need and data </li><li>Provides services that implement the educational mission and follows all institutional policies of Metro Early College High School. </li><li>Works collaboratively with other instructors to construct and maintain a high quality integrated learning environment </li><li>Collects, analyzes and utilizes assessment data to identify students' immediate & long-range needs to develop lesson plans for assignments & activities that meet and extend student learning opportunities </li><li>Opportunities to team teach or co-teach </li><li>Facilitates learning beyond the school day through office hours </li><li>Coaches and counsels each student regarding his/her academic & behavioral progress. </li><li>Transparency and willingness to share best practices </li><li>Plays multiple roles beyond the classroom including student recruitment and admissions, new program development, communication with multiple districts, partnership development with outside organizations, and collaboration with other center initiatives. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal </li></ul> <p>Salary: Commensurate with experience</p> <p>Reports To: Metro Early College Middle School Administration</p> <p>Application Procedure: Send an email with resume to employment@themetroschool.org</p>
