<p>Title: Accounts, Director</p> <p>Location: Stamford, CT</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>The Accounts, Director is a critical business partner responsible for demonstrating strategic leadership, effective communication, business acumen, accountability and vision for their clients. They successfully leverage industry experience, agency knowledge, and data-driven skills to drive innovative thinking while continuously setting challenges and objectives that balancing brand and team needs. Their focus is on business partnership for their marketing partners and the internal development of their team. They set clear expectations and define processes that ensure the financial and business goals of all creative product are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate is a leader and mentor for a team of account and project management professionals, ensuring a collaborative, motivated and adaptable team dynamic while fostering strength-based growth and positive morale.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Build, develop and maintain a team of high-performing account and project management professionals </li><li>Develop close relationships with internal partners and stakeholders </li><li>Own, define and ensure critical processes are followed </li><li>Ensure creative projects and delivered efficiently from inception to execution, including defining scopes and ensuring briefs are clear, effective and complete </li><li>Partner with leadership to set a standard of excellence that meets our business objectives </li><li>Successfully execute seasonal and evergreen programs for Brands and retail channels </li><li>Recruit and manage external resources required to execute work </li><li>Track and manage workflow and capacity within the department </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>10-15+ years in client-facing Agency experience with CPG and/or large-scale retail experience. </li><li>Proven track record of success in developing and launching consumer-centric programs and activations </li><li>Hands-on experience building and managing agency teams </li><li>Expertise in managing external agency and vendor resources </li><li>Strong skills in organization and collaboration </li><li>Strong cross-functional leadership with Brand, Retail, Legal/Regulatory, and Corporate Comms. </li><li>Excellent writing and storytelling skills for effective internal and external communications and presentations. </li></ul> <p>Even Better If:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in regulated industries (alcohol, cannabis, pharma, tobacco) </li><li>Familiarity with retail environments. </li></ul>
