In this role, you'll help lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater facilities, ranging from $1M to over $100M in construction value. With a strong backlog of water and wastewater treatment projects, you'll have the chance to shape cutting-edge solutions and grow your expertise in the technologies that matter most to you.</p> <p>What you'll do</p> <ul> <li>Manage and support the planning and design of water and wastewater facilities, addressing challenges such as emerging contaminants and nutrient removal. </li><li>Oversee diverse projects in water treatment, wastewater treatment, conveyance, and modeling. </li><li>Serve as a primary client interface, leading workshops, facilitating discussions, and maintaining strong relationships to ensure expectations are met and exceeded. </li><li>Drive project coordination across disciplines and uphold quality standards throughout all design phases. </li><li>Mentor engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and collaborative team culture. </li><li>Contribute to technical strategies and design planning for project pursuits, leveraging client insights to shape innovative solutions. </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or related field. </li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months. </li><li>7+ years of experience in detailed design and project management of water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and conveyance systems. </li><li>Proven ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines and manage project delivery. </li><li>Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. </li></ul> <p>Ideally, you'll also have</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. </li><li>Experience in construction and startup of water/wastewater treatment facilities. </li><li>Design experience with advanced wastewater processes. </li><li>Familiarity with emerging technologies and sustainability practices in water infrastructure. </li></ul> <p>At Jacobs, we're committed to creating a culture where you can thrive-professionally and personally.
