<p>This advertisement is to identify a pool of applicants to fill positions that become available for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants should state the level (elementary, intermediate, middle, or high) for which they are applying.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Establishes a school vision and culture that fosters achievement for all students as well as professional growth for all staff members. </li><li>Monitors and evaluates the alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment through purposeful formal and informal observations. </li><li>Provides and engages staff members in focused, research-based, collaborative professional development. </li><li>Demonstrates knowledge, skill, and expertise with uses of technology, software, and data analysis. </li><li>Manages the school plant and fiscal operations in an effective and efficient manner. </li><li>Evaluates all staff members with a direct focus on capitalizing on talents and constant improvement. </li><li>Navigates the political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context of the school in the community by establishing and maintaining favorable relationships with community organizations and individuals. </li><li>Implements state and county Board of Education policies as well as Maryland laws. </li><li>Demonstrates Instructional Leadership qualities that will successfully lead and prepare staff to develop and attain high levels of student achievement. </li><li>Develop a collaborative culture for improving student achievement. </li><li>Establish and maintain an effective learning climate in the school. </li><li>Initiate, design and implement programs to meet specific needs of the school. </li><li>Assume responsibility for the implementation and observance of all Board policies and regulations by the school's staff and student's; interpret and enforce the school systems policies and regulations. </li><li>Maintain high standards of student conduct and enforce discipline, as necessary, according to School Board policy and the due process rights of students. </li><li>Reports to the Superintendent and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Academic Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Eligibility for a license/certificate as an Administrator II as required by Maryland State Board of Education Bylaws at time of application. </li><li>Three Years' Experience in administration and/or supervision at the appropriate level is preferred. </li><li>Successfully completed a minimum of five years of teaching experience at the appropriate level is preferred. </li></ul> <p>DUTY YEAR AND SALARY:</p> <p>This is a 12-month position.
