<p>Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first</p> <p>Upon completion of our Foundations training program and successfully obtaining your insurance licenses and AHIP Certification, you will build community relationships, drive self-generated sales, and meet sales goals and metrics while working independently. You will be interacting with Humana's customers, external business partners and the community?we?serve?through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic interactions. Face to face will encompass grass roots marketing and field sales community events, as well as, visiting prospects in their homes. Our Medicare Sales Field Agents sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries on our services in a field setting. Some of our additional products include Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and more.</p> <p>We will pay for your insurance?training program and licensing fees along with the cost of obtaining your AHIP certification. This also includes knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point </li><li>This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits. This role also requires running a Motor Vehicle Report as part of the background check process </li><li>Although this is a field position, there will be times when you will be working from home so you must have the ability to provide high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Also, associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense. </li><li>Internet requirements include a minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload). </li><li>Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role. </li><li>Working conditions will require a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information </li><li>Must reside within?the?assigned territory or have plans to relocate at your own expense </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's?Degree </li><li>Previous internship and/or work?experience?in the insurance industry </li><li>Strong interest in the Healthcare industry with a passion for helping others </li><li>Engaged with your community through service, organizations, activities and volunteerism </li><li>Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and an additional language without limitations or assistance </li></ul> <p>Additional information:</p> <ul> <li>Your continued employment with Humana is contingent upon your passing of your Health insurance license exam while attending our Foundations training program </li><li>You must also be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification (all paid for by Humana)?to sell our products. </li><li>Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government. </li><li>Alert: Humana values personal identity protection. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.</p> <p>$31,800 - $43,800 per year</p> <p>This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan.
