<p>Job Title: Medical Assistant</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Welcome patients by greeting them, either in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries. Prepare patients for their healthcare visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room, providing examination gowns and drapes, and arranging examining room instruments, supplies, and equipment. Verify patient information by interviewing the patient, reviewing and/or recording medical history, taking vital signs, and confirming the purpose of the visit or treatment. Complete records by documenting patient examination, treatment, and test results. The environment requires professionalism, understanding, and courteous interaction with patients, visitors, employees, and medical staff.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
