<p>Maintenance Tech Ripley Entertainment Attractions</p> <p>Ripleys Believe it or Not World Entertainment is now hiring maintenance technicians for our non-aquarium attractions.</p> <p>Job skills needed:</p> <ul> <li>Basic computer skills (email, texts, filling out on-line reports, etc.) </li><li>Basic mechanical and electrical (use of VOM, repair power cords, etc.) </li><li>Basic use of hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, impact wrench, etc.) </li><li>Basic maintenance tasks (painting, cleaning, inspecting, etc.) </li><li>Problem solving abilities </li><li>Technical efficiency in relevant equipment </li><li>Ability to identify and solve technical problems with various forms of technology </li><li>Installation of new arcade media equipment </li><li>Must possess valid Drivers License </li><li>Must be punctual, have a flexible schedule, motivated, and able to work independently </li><li>Must be willing to learn multiple aspects of the job and take direction from peers </li><li>Must be able to lift a box up to 50 pounds and climb ladders </li><li>Preference given to candidates that have skills in the following: audio/video installation, arcade game repair, ability to learn/use new software, and computer construction/maintenance. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Game diagnostics/Repair </li><li>Audio Visual Support </li><li>System upgrades </li><li>Routine preventative maintenance </li><li>Opening and closing procedures </li><li>Leaf blowing mini golf courses </li><li>General repair and upkeep of attractions </li></ul> <p>This is a diverse and fast-paced job with opportunities for acquiring new skills and has potential for growth within our company.
