<p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Back Office Lead to provide basic supervision and leadership to the clinical staff. Accountable for the daily operations of the back office, supervision of the clinical staff, communication, and interoffice coordination to ensure service quality.</p> <p>MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain the daily staffing levels of the back office to ensure appropriate coverage </li><li>MA schedules </li><li>Ensure daily lunch coverage </li><li>Ordering weekly/biweekly/monthly supply orders </li><li>Huddles with staff daily/weekly/monthly </li><li>Provide guidance, coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution amongst back-office staff </li><li>Train and shadow all new staff to ensure employees receive proper orientation and skill competency evaluations </li><li>Monitor and assess the patient workflow and provide feedback for potential improvements </li><li>Assure that all exam rooms and MA workstations are stocked, and all IT equipment is in working order </li><li>Initiate IT support tickets or maintenance work orders as needed </li><li>Work collectively with the Clinic Manager </li><li>Assist the Clinic Manager with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of potential candidates </li><li>Timesheets </li><li>Performance evaluations </li><li>Work with providers to assure a smooth, efficient workflow </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>License Vocational Nurse (LVN) </li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinic setting </li><li>Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred. </li><li>EMR experience a plus </li><li>Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written </li><li>Able to work with minimum supervision </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions/Physical/Mental Abilities and Processes:</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.</p> <ul> <li>Work requires periods of walking, standing, sitting, turning, twisting, reaching, speaking, hearing, seeing and ability to articulate clearly, use of hands to finger, reaching with hands and arms. </li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a busy office. </li><li>Ability to work productively in a small office space used by multiple employees. </li><li>Ability to relate well with employees and exercise good customer service skills. </li><li>Ability to work with personal computer for long periods. </li><li>Travel to and from clinic or meeting sites within geographic service area. </li></ul> <p>DOE: $31.00 - $35.54</p> <p>East Valley offers a competitive salary, and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and defined contribution retirement plan.
