Here, you'll be empowered to perform, grow, and engage through unmatched opportunities to develop your skills, gain real-world experience, and learn from the best in the business.</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Equipment Operator I is primarily responsible for operation of power equipment, including reach trucks, forklifts, dock lifts, and other machinery, to move inventory, pallets and cartons throughout the distribution center.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Apply basic math skills to verify and adjust quantities, accurately fulfill orders, and make necessary adjustments, </li><li>Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), radio frequency (RF) scanners, and other equipment to complete job duties </li><li>Follow written, verbal, and computer-delivered instructions accurately to perform assigned tasks </li><li>Identify inventory correctly and match product numbers to ensure proper handling and storage </li><li>Demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination for tasks requiring grasping, holding, or fine motor skills </li><li>Maintain accurate records and verify documentation to support merchandise flow through the distribution center </li><li>Operate motorized and non-motorized power equipment such as forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order selectors for majority of working hours </li><li>Adhere to all company safety protocols, to ensure a safe work environment </li><li>When necessary, individual is flexible and willing to work in other areas of the DC </li></ul> <p>Minimum Salary: $19.00</p> <p>VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment is a plus </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs / 23kgs </li><li>Ability to stand for the duration of shift with breaks </li><li>Complete required power equipment training and obtain certification/licensure upon hire </li><li>Ability to multitask </li><li>Self-motivated and team oriented </li><li>Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screening </li></ul> <p>We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest records, conviction records, or other criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of any applicable state and local laws.
